I thought the carrots hadn't germinated until I got down on hands and knees and spotted the miniscule stems denuded of leaves. So: my two tiny veg beds are now netted to keep the birds and frogs/toads away, and I use slug pellets. We've had home-grown salad this year!sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16291326380557787987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10898461078815315.post-55617804494556407222007-08-18T16:54:00.000+01:002007-08-18T16:54:00.000+01:00It does start to slow down at this point! It does start to slow down at this point!SueJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12152352135389361290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10898461078815315.post-73548095709179667242007-08-18T15:24:00.000+01:002007-08-18T15:24:00.000+01:00What an appropriate spot to photograph the Prairie...What an appropriate spot to photograph the Prairie Shawl. I am at about stitch count 200, so I have a bit more knitting to do on mine. I have some Christmas knitting completed, but I do want some blocking wires. I saw somewhere that you could get wires from a welder and they were cheaper and would work. Must google that again. I love the market bag and Brenda Dayne. I, too, must download her latest podcast! Wish she were well enough to podcast more.Peg-woolinmysouphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03790536800383924646noreply@blogger.com
