There is a bit of knitting activity to report on (even managed a bit of knitting outside today!). I have almost finished my 'Stulpen' fingerless mitts in King Cole 4 ply with a bit of Trekking XXL.
Mr Greenjeans got this far but I decided to push ahead with the mitts as they may be more useful camping in Scotland!

I have finished the first of my 'design your own' 'clog socks'. Not sure how well they will wear though. Hopefully I will manage a better photo though!
With just 7 manic school days to go until the end of term I am beginning to think about holidays in general & holiday knitting. We don't yet know if our camper back for the truck is in the UK yet, so its all a bit vague. Scotland...... of course...... islands...... almost sure to...... camping.....of one kind or another....... Just me, Mr J & Moss. Son & heir is know working for cash to go skiing this winter!

That little chicken bag is great isn't it! Your knitting is coming along well. I do love the look of your garden, all that space in the fields beyond ...!
Love your front garden - proper cottage-garden flowers! And well done with the polytunnel planting - it's looking really good. Our courgettes have failed miserably this year: I've had one courgette from 3 plants so far - it was nice though!
Your front garden is just gorgeous! Wish I could come and sit in it!
We are off camping on friday night for my mom's 60th. I'll post on how it goes. :)
Wow, what a stunning flower garden! We are awash in the dark green of mid-summer in Kentucky. A few rose of sharon flowers in the tree, a couple of wave petunias in the front yard, but otherwise? Just green tomatoes, potatoes, jerusalem artichokes, peppers, onions...green green. Love your flowers, they let me see the color again!
Our Darlington friends are in town and came over tonight for a cup of tea. So, I had to think of you as we were looking at their sheep pictures and Yorkshire Dales pictures. :)
I love how the socks are looking!!!! the garden is really pretty, we only have lawn as neither of us are gardeners......
